In Leeds, a big part of student culture is Hyde Park- is the go to place to walk, skate and hang out on a sunny day. However, when the weather gets slightly better, the park gets packed: not only with lit students, but litter.
Aware of this problem, Jack invented this bin bag dispenser. Our hero. We wanted to be part of his solution.
In between job hunting and many University deadlines, we squeezed in our new campaign: Hyde Park Isn't Trashy. We came up with easy and fun posters to drive change and raise awareness of Jack’s new device.
We got a great response, with 1.4K reactions on our post to Facebook’s Leeds Student Group. Jack got in touch and after talking, we decided we want to take this further. There’s talking of getting the council involved and making merchandise, but for now, we’ve started our collaboration by doing an open call for slogans. 1.1K people reacted to our post and we got over 60 submissions.
